Painting over a new installation is not recommended as coil-painted films have additives that preclude a good bond with touch-up paints; this should be kept to a minimum, using a small artist’s brush or an airbrush. Touch-up paint will not last as long as the original, so if a large area requires repair, it is better to replace the sheet than to try to save it.
